Personality:

Oume is the type of person who’s always smiling and willing to help others. However don’t be fooled by her smiling face, as she can also use her more ‘creepier’ smiles to strike fear in the hearts of those who invoke her wrath. While her willingness in working with others and kind demeanor make her approachable, Oume is unfortunately blunt without meaning to be and would end up insulting you by accident with a smile on her oblivious face. Despite her friendliness Oume doesn’t have the best social skills, but is very thankful that most of her friends aren’t bothered by this. She’s also hard to annoy, although she finds the constant boy crazy girls in her class to be irritating. Contrary to what most of the girls assume, Oume has absolutely zero experience in romance and while she sees it when others express it to someone else, she’s extremely oblivious to it when it’s directed at her.

Like most of her clan members Oume is very gifted when it comes to intelligence, although not on the same level as Shikamaru, and is highly perspective as a result.

History:

When Oume was born, there was nothing but chaos and panic among her clan due to her mother’s terrible health and the constant threat of assassination. Unfortunately Oume’s mother died 3 weeks after giving birth to her, which resulted in not only her becoming the head prematurely, but being Hakuryu’s next host as well. At the age of 4 nearly half of the Hanazawa clan were gone, dying in order to protect her and the clan. With the increasing amount of deaths occurring, her father had no choice but to send her away along with her two older brothers. To ensure their safety he sent them off with his guards to find somewhere that would protect them before he was killed.

While the guards had initially planned on taking them to Sunagakure, a few assassins had followed them which resulted in them leaving Oume in the hands of her brothers who immediately dismissed their first plan and went straight to Konoha. When they approached the gates they were stopped and questioned by Kakashi and a few other Jounin. After Iehisa explained the situation and were taken in.

Clan Name: Hanazawa

Symbol: A flower with five petals that has a total of ten orbs, five in the middle of the flower and the other five connecting the petals together.

History: The Hanazawa clan were a noble clan known for their gifted talent in Ninjutsu, immense amount of chakra, and their ties to reptilian creatures. Unlike most clans, the Hanazawa are exclusively lead by women who must also bear a great responsibility. In order to assure the safety of not only their clan, but the other villages the first head of the Hanazawa clan sacrificed herself and accepted to be the great demon Hakuryu’s host. After that fateful day the Hanazawa clan became both revered and feared by their village, passing the responsibility of hosting Hakuryu to the next Clan leader. It’s unknown as to why the Hanazawa are an exclusively female lead clan, but few suspected it may have been due to the fact that Hanazawa women were drastically stronger than the men. Oume also mentions that it wasn’t the entire clan that posses insane amounts of chakra, but the women who did.

• A technique unique to the hosts of Hakuryu. It allows a ninja to communicate telepathically.

• The Hanazawa clan’s secret technique, it allows a ninja to see everything the person they’re using it on can see by taking a small bit of that person’s chakra and transforming it into a flower. The jutsu only lasts until the flower loses all its petals.

Oume has pale skin and almond shaped eyes along with round lips. Unlike the rest of her clan, due to being Hakuryu’s host she has snow white hair and a pair of light blue eyes, physical traits she and the former Hanazawa clan leaders possessed.

Pre shippuden Oume has an narrow figure but Shippuden Oume has a slightly athletic hourglass figure.
